Gia T. Nichols Cpdt-ka, CDTK is a certified professional dog trainer who has 19 years of experience teaching puppy and adult dog basic and advanced obedience. She is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. She is also a CGC evaluator with the American Kennel Club. She now has a beautiful yorkie named Vivian that loves to do trick training and play with her favorite toy which is a blue stuffed dinosaur!

Dog Training Tips
Be kind and very generous with treats when performing a new behavior with your dog. It’s their paycheck when learning a new behavior. Dog’s don’t generalize so train everywhere. Remember not to force them to do something that they are hesitant about or scared. That will delay learning.
